Welcome to an enchanted journey through Indian history. A journey
through two of India’s most bewitching states, Gujarat
and Rajasthan – states rich with dynastic and cultural
history. The region that has seen some of the most ferocious
battles and courageous kings in Indian history. For students
of life, two universities of the past. And for traveler, a close
encounter with the oriental mystique.
The fun comes up when the sun goes down. Unwind at the "
Watering Hole," a bar well stocked with the choicest liquors.
Have a drink with a friend and get into high spirits, as high
spirits get into you! And when you think you've had enough for
the day (an unlikely possibility, but neverthless), retire to
the privacy of your chambers, and sleep with the memories of
an era that was, and a world that time forgot.

Fort singled out for its glorious history of battles and beauty.
A tour to the glorious fort of Chittaurgarh is an unforgettable
experience. As you drive on the 13 square kms fort visit Palace
of Queen Padmini, Peace and Victory Towers and witness several
temples dedicated to Lord Shiva, now leis in state of ruins
0900 hrs - Departure for Udaipur. Breakfast Onboard
1215 hrs - Arrival at Udaipur. On arrival transfer to hotel
for Lunch. Post lunch Local sightseeing.

Welcome to the 'City of Lakes'. One of the most romantic places
in India, it is situated around the shimmering clear blue water
lakes, which whisper the mood of a bygone era. Known as the
most Romantic city in all Rajasthan. Lunch at hotel. Excursion
to Manek Mahal or the Palace of Pearls, the Fateh Sagar lake,
the Garden of Maids known as Sahelion Ki Baari and also the
village of Artisans known as Lok Kala Mandal. Udaipur a place
soaked in tradition and culture

Day 03 - Friday

Ahmedabad is a colorful city where one can enjoy the better
things of life, be it food or amusement. The Walled City in
Ahmedabad takes one down the memory lane, making one aware of
the city's glorious past. Ahmedabad has got numerous places
of interest for tourists, ranging from monuments to amusement
parks. The charm of the various museums, mosques, and forts
complements the simplicity of the Ahmedabad city. While visiting
the Ahmedabad city, one should keep the budget flexible, as
it is all too common for people to get tempted by the array
of artifacts, antiques, and the exotic and colorful attire available
in Ahmedabad.

Sasan Gir
Sasangir has the distinction of being the last earthly refuge
of the Asiatic lion. In the paisley-shaped Kathiwad peninsula
of Gujarat stands the Gir National Park and Lion Sanctuary,
the one and only remaining habitat of this proud and majestic
species (Panthera leo). Sasangir Lion Sanctuary is home of some
300 Asiatic lions. Close to being an extinct species, the number
of Asiatic lions has been steadily rising since 1980 in this
safe haven.

Day 05 - Sunday
Attraction Palitana
Morning at Palitana, the next stop is at Sarkhej, famous for
the traditional Vishalla Village. All meals on board the Royal
Orient.
0745 hrs - Arrival at Palitana Breakfast Onboard
1200 hrs - Departure for Sarkhej. Lunch Onboard.
1745 hrs - Arrival at Sarkhej. Visit Vishalla Village Dinner
at Hotel.

Day 06 - Monday
Attraction - Udaipur
The city of Dawn, Udaipur is a lovely land around the azure
water lakes, hemmed in by the lush hills of the Aravalis. A
vision in white drenched in romance and beauty. Udaipur is a
fascinating blend of sights, sounds and experiences an inspiration
for the imagination of poes,painters and writers.
Overlooking the aquamarine expanses of the Lake Pichhola stands
the splendid City Palace a marvel and granite and marbel. Exquisite
lake palaces of Udaipur, shimmering like jewels on the Lake
Pichhola are overwhelming in splendour.
Several places of interest around Udaipur, with an interesting
excursion to Ranakpur. After lunch, you can visit the Shilpgram
Craft Village and then continue for Jaipur. All meals on board
the Royal Orient.

Day 07- Tuesday

Jaipur
The capital of Rajasthan is the most colourful city in India,
with it's famous pink coloured buildings, museum, observatory,
Palace of Winds and the colourful bazaar. Breakfast and lunch
on board the train. To explore the city, an air-conditioned
coach takes you to Hawa Mahal or the palace of winds, which
is a remarkable five storeyed building along the main street
of the old city in pink splendor with semi octagonal and delicate
honey combed sandstone windows.
And yes, how can you miss the shopping in your Jaipur tour.
Jaipur is the place to shop until you drop ! It has a plethora
of handicrafts and other attarctions.
