Day 1 : Arrive Chennai
Arrive Chennai International airport. On arrival, you will be
met by our representative and transferred to the hotel. Overnight
at the hotel.
Day 2 : Chennai
Full day excursion to Mahabalipuram and Kancheepuram - the city
of temples and silks. Overnight at Chennai.
Day 3 : Chennai-Bangalore
Depart Chennai by flight/train for Bangalore - the sandalwood
city. Afternoon sightseeing of Bangalore city. Visit the beautiful
botanical gardens of 'Lal Bagh', the 'Nandi Bull Temple', the
impressive building of the 'Vidhana Souda' (Secretariat). Continue
onwards to the 'Palace of Tipu Sultan'. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 4 : Bangalore - Mysore
Morning drive to Mysore (127 kms) stopping enroute to see Seringpatnam.
On arrival check-in at the hotel. Afternoon at leisure for your
own activities. Overnight at hotel.
Day 5 : Mysore
Morning visit the beautiful city of Mysore. Visit the Maharaja's
Palace, which is lavishly decorated in a mixture of styles.
Also visit the Zoological Garden, Mysore Arts & Crafts Centre
and then proceed to the Chamundi Temple on a hill above the
city. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 6 : Mysore - Hassan
Morning drive to Hassan to see the famous temples of Belur and
Halebid. Overnight in the hotel.
Day 7 : Hasan
Halebid and Belur temples - The Chenna Kesava temple of Belur
built 900 years ago is an exquisite example of Hoysala art.
Halebid's 12th century Hoysaleswara and Kedareswara temples
are masterpieces of Hindu art.
Day 8 : Hassan - Chikmagalur
Depart for the beautiful town of Chikmagalur nestled in the
Baba Budan hills. Chikmagalur is a calm, serene town full of
scenic surprises - hills, valleys, streams and snow-white coffee
blossoms. On arrival, check-in at the hotel. Overnight at the
hotel.
Day 9 : Hassan - Hospet
Morning drive to Hospet. Afternoon visit Hampi - a World Heritage
Centre. Hampi is the most beautiful and evocative of all the
ruins in Karnataka. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 10 : Hospet - Badami
Morning drive to Badami (103 km). Here the cave temples are
hewn out of solid rock, in a magical setting of hills above
a lovely reservoir.
On arrival, visit the Aihole and Pattadakal. Aihole - famous
as the cradle of Indian temple architecture - has over 125 temples,
all intricately carved and rich in detail.
Overnight at the hotel.
Day 11 : Badami - Goa
Morning drive to Goa (198 km). On arrival, check-in at the hotel.
Afternoon at leisure for your own activities. Overnight at the
hotel.
Day 12 : Goa
Morning sightseeing of Goa Churches and Temples. Overnight at
the hotel.
Day 13 : Goa - Mumbai
Morning transfer to the Airport for your flight to Mumbai.
